Achieving Work-Life Balance

I’m certain you operate your aesthetic business to ensure your clients feel understood, cared for, and have their needs met. Hopefully, your clients love the experience they have doing business with you and keep coming back for more services!
Through years of experience in the aesthetic industry, I’ve seen individuals passionate about their career, clients, and team. I’ve enjoyed nothing more than working with business owners and physicians who love what they do.
Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that while they are undoubtedly dedicated, driven, and passionate…they are often overwhelmed and exhausted.
It’s time you start treating yourself like one of your clients. Finding a work-life balance is difficult, but it is vital to ensure that you are taking care of yourself. When you feel better, you’ll operate your business better. Today, I want to share with you 3 ways that you can find daily balance in your life, which will allow you to rest, recharge, and find renewed energy for your business!
Review Your Week
Sunday evenings before you go to bed, do your weekly preview. Spend an hour reviewing your schedule, personal commitments, meetings, etc. Determine your top three priorities you want to accomplish as the leader of your business that will take you closer to your goals. I call this POWER HOUR!
Focus Your Mind
On your way to work turn off your music or podcast and focus on clearing your mind. Practice breathing exercises and prepare yourself to arrive at work relaxed and in an open state to take on the world! As you are able, try to recenter your day and get back to your pre-office state of mind by spending 5-10 minutes outside enjoying the fresh air.
Schedule Personal Time
Be intentional about setting time aside each day or week to practice self-care. Choose activities that will help you feel relaxed and prioritize your health. When you have a plan in place that supports you in accomplishing your goals, work, and allows you to care for yourself, your days will begin to feel more balanced.
