Putting Accountability In Place Before You Need It

When it comes to ambition for your aesthetic practice, I hope that you have an abundance.

Generally, ambition is not an issue when it comes to pursuing our goals. It can be easy to dream big, believe ourselves capable, and make a plan. However, it can be hard to remain consistent while pursuing those goals.⁠

It’s at times when consistency is lacking or motivation wavering that we often find ourselves in need of support. When we do find ourselves in those circumstances, we often desire support. However, we typically don’t want or seek accountability. ⁠

Wisdom is putting accountability in place BEFORE you need it.

An accountability partner should be your cheerleader, motivator, and the celebrator of your success. You deserve an accountability partner who will keep you accountable to your career goals and speak honestly with you about the hard things. The relationship that you have with your accountability partner should be one in which you get to the root issues in your businesses and push each other to overcome them. ⁠

Look for an accountability partner more disciplined than you are. Choose someone willing to invest time into you and your business, and make sure it’s someone with whom you can reciprocate. Your accountability partner should be someone who you do not want to disappoint. Consistent meetings, conversations, and vulnerability are crucial to the success of accountability. ⁠

I know that it can be a difficult process to choose an accountability partner. However, the relationship will be invaluable in pushing your practice forward.
