Review- Preview Part One
Take a little stroll with me…
It’s the fall of 2019, and I just finished recording an interview with @benjaminreigle on the My Good Friends podcast.
In the episode, I shared my hopes and dreams of the new company I would create to pivot my current consulting business.
You see- I’d already built a successful B2B business serving physicians and medspa owners. However, up until that point, my services had been mostly a physical presence at their brick-and-mortar practice locations.
Now, I wanted to dream bigger and position my business to scale. I wanted to launch a business that could deliver my particular “success formula” and help hundreds of aesthetic businesses reach the same profitability heights as my current clients!
So, that’s what I did. 💥
Now, it’s the end of 2020, and I am practicing what I preach by conducting a “Review-Preview.” This process involves reviewing how far my business has come, how well I’ve reached my goals, and taking time to celebrate all of the wins. Then, I “preview” the future and consider what the next year will bring (more on this here).
Here’s what happened in 2020:
- I launched Aesthetics Accelerator, a completely virtual business consulting service for aesthetic business leaders, during a global pandemic.
- I developed my proprietary online course- The Advanced Acceleration Program™. This core course focuses on the operational side of aesthetic businesses, teaching physicians how to build profitable & resilient practices.
- I developed a crazy amount of new tech skills, opened an on-line marketing agency to further service my clients, and stepped waaaay outside of my comfort zone!!!
Reflecting on that podcast interview, I can see just how far I’ve come. At the time that episode aired, I only had a landing page and an admittedly bad business name (the spa coach), but I did have fierce determination.
I’m so thankful for the growth that I’ve accomplished- especially during the backdrop of 2020 .
I want to let you in on something. This kind of growth and success isn’t unique to me. You can experience it within your business as well, with the right attitude, mindset, and tools. Success isn’t predetermined- you choose it. Let me help.
I challenge you to reflect on your business over the past year. How far have you come? Please email me with the successes that you find as you review- I can’t wait to celebrate with you!
