The Team Meeting Before Your Big Event

Your next big event should be everything that you want it to be. And guess what? The success of your event begins with your team meeting. Plan to make the meeting before your big event full of positivity and momentum.
While big events can be so much fun (and profitable) They are also exhausting! The amount of time and effort you and your team will invest while hosting the event can very quickly develop into stress and overwhelm. One way to avoid this is by preparing your team well ahead of time.
One helpful tip is to create checklists for tasks leading up to and for the day of the event. Clearly explain to your team the items/ procedures you would like them to discuss with clients. Practice selling exercises with your team members and provide them with scripts.
Productive leadership requires meeting with your team weekly. I often find many physicians resistant to regular meetings, but the ones who prioritize this simple biz strategy seem to have higher functioning teams overall.
Set rules for meeting etiquette and when your meetings begin and end. I always encourage leaders and team members to take a moment and rate meetings on a scale of 1-5. Rating your meetings allows for reflection on the productivity of your meetings. What could you improve or eliminate?
Your clients will notice how well organized and prepared your team was for your event, and it will have a significant impact on their client experience. You can make this event successful & fun for everyone with productive team meetings and preparation!
